Hi I’m Diba — a freelance culture reporter with nearly a decade of industry experience. My work has appeared in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Los Angeles Review of Books, among others.

I received a Master of Arts from Columbia Journalism School, where I specialized in Arts & Culture and won “Best M.A. Thesis” for long-form food story that was later published online. Previously, I worked at NPR in both digital and audio.

I am based in New York City.
