Hi, I'm Diba! I'm a New York-based culture reporter and writer, and a recent graduate of the Master of Arts (M.A.) program at Columbia’s Journalism School, in their Arts & Culture concentration.

Previously, I worked as a reporter on NPR’s digital team, where I wrote top-performing stories spanning politics, arts, technology, business, and more. I’ve also worked extensively as an audio producer for several major podcasts such as Code Switch, TED Radio Hour, and How I Built This. I am most passionate about intimate, immersive storytelling that deepens our fixed understanding about the world.

I did my undergraduate at the College of William and Mary with an interdisciplinary degree in Film & Media Studies.

My resume is available upon request.
