Hi, I'm Diba! I'm a New York-based culture reporter and writer. I am currently a Master of Arts (M.A.) student at Columbia Journalism School, in the Arts & Culture concentration.
Previously, I worked as a reporter on NPR’s digital team, where I wrote top-performing stories spanning politics, arts, technology, business, and more. Before my time on digital, I worked in audio primarily on the podcast side for major NPR shows such as Code Switch, TED Radio Hour, and How I Built This. While I have covered all sorts of subjects, I am most passionate about intimate, immersive stories that upend our fixed beliefs about the world.
I received my undergraduate at the College of William and Mary with an interdisciplinary degree in Film & Media Studies. My resume is available upon request.
